Party on the Lawn is an annual mini festival held in the little picturesque village of Bishopstone in Wiltshire. The event is centred around the fabulous duo Chris While and Julie Mathews with their invited guests. In 2008 this included Elbow Jane, The Birmingham Folk Ensemble, led by Joe Broughton (sorry no pictures) Keith Donnelly and Show of Hands. This year was even more special with the reunion of Chris and Julie’s Blue Tapestry where the recreate the songs of Carole King and Joni Mitchell. With the weather holding out, this was a great little festival and worth the journey down to Wiltshire.
