Swallows Nest

We were setting up for a gig for www.empty-rooms.com and I know my place when sound checking . . . . basically keep out of the way! Outside in the eaves of the doorway of the venue, a 13th century church in Buckinghamshire, was a swallows nest and I spent a good 20 minutes watching the parents feed there young. While I was taking these photographs I could hear group inside, a family band called The Tindalls warming up and sound checking to a tune by Fleetwood Mac called Songbird, quite appropriate really.
